Last night, I attended the reading of debut novelist Bennett Sims, whose novel A Questionable Shape is out from Two Dollar Radio this May. The book, a philosophical exploration of human consciousness and memory set in the weeks after a zombie epidemic, is harrowing, profound, and beautiful–you should absolutely pick up a copy.
Bennett is also doing several upcoming readings. Are you in St. Paul, MN, New York City, or San Francisco? See him! He’s an amazing reader, and his ability to answer during Q&As is unmatched by any living writer I’ve ever witnessed.
